SolarCar go go go!

Ein Nachmittag Nostalgie also. Wer uns hautnah erleben will kommt vorbei.

We're headed for the final stretch. With a new battery installed and our first test drive successful, the journey to Australia just keeps getting closer and closer. Before going all the way down under though, we still have something special up our sleeves. For those of you already in anticipation for this year's Rollout, there's good news. There will be something new this time.

First of all the newly rebuilt thyssenkrupp SunRiser will of course be presented to the general public. Additionally we'll look back on 20 exciting years of SolarCar history. This we would like to celebrate with you on our university campus onJuly 3rd at 1 p.m. Sponsors, representatives from politics and the press, our project's alumni, as well as friends and families are welcome to join us. Let's come together and share some great memories from the past years.

Speaking of memories, do you know how this project came to be, anyway? Which achievements and other amazing things the different teams accomplished over the course of two decades? And just what is there to make it all so special? You'll get the answer to those questions on July 3rd in our anniversary exhibition “The Cars With Ducks.” Fairs, shows, and parades are nothing new under the sun for us, but there hasn't ever been an exhibition of our own. We'll show you all kinds of collectibles and souvenirs from around the world, shed some light on the project's history, and present only the most spectacular images.

A whole afternoon of nostalgia awaits. Come join us, and see for yourself.
